- dosgamesarchive - "One of the nice things about Star Quest 1 is that, like Elite, you can fly down from deep space into the planet’s atmosphere, to hover over the planet’s surface to blast a base protected by ground cannons. The missions are intense, with lots of enemy ships flying around everywhere, constantly bombarding you with laser fire."

About Virtual Adventures
Boilerplate
Virtual Adventures has been an independent game developer and publisher since 1994.   Since our origins in the DOS era, our mission has remained the same: fun first.   We believe realism is great, but never at the expense of pure entertainment.
We released our first game in 1995, Star Quest 1 in the 27th century—a full 3D Space Combat and Racing game that stayed on the 'Top 40 shareware download' for 30 consecutive weeks.
Our second release, the multiplayer game Stellar Mercenaries, was published by Infogrames/Atari in 1997.
We work hard to ensure our games are playable by everyone.   By offering more configuration options and user interface compatibility—we make sure our 27th-century adventures are open to all pilots.
